Tooth-Colored Fillings

Fillings are the primary way we repair small to medium sized cavities, and rather than using dark gray amalgam, our fillings are made of a plastic-based composite resin. This material can be color-matched to any patient’s smile so that the filling itself ends up looking just like natural enamel, fully repairing a tooth without affecting its appearance. Plus, because the resin is 100% metal-free, patients don’t have to worry about these fillings making their teeth more sensitive to hot and/or cold temperatures.

Dental Crowns

When a tooth has developed decay or sustained damage that can’t be adequately addressed by a filling, a dental crown can provide comprehensive repair. These restorations are designed to look and function just like a real tooth and are fitted directly over damaged teeth. With one, Dr. Lankupalli can fix a large cavity, replace missing dental structure, and even improve the appearance of an oddly shaped/spaced tooth. With the proper care, a dental crown can easily last for 10-15 years.
